Biconical Antenna

The biconical antenna that we use from time to time is manufactured by HP (Agilent). It has a radiation pattern that is not quite a dipole but close. It connects diretly to a 50 Ohm coax cable and allow for a direct connection to a receiver. It mounts easily on a tripod and very portable. We have acquired data with the antenna during meteor showers.
