Goal

We will build as many detectors as we can on March 18th. Remaining detectors can be built at School under teacher's supervision. The goal is for each school to have 5 scintillation counters which will be part of the Ground Array.

Tasks

  1. Polish Scintillators and wrap them in Tyvek (was pre assembled)
  2. Assemble Phototubes in Lucite housing (including High Voltage converter)
  3. Assemble Counters in Gun Cases
  4. Power on and test
  5. Familiarize with electronics for 4-fold coincidence board(to be assemble in school - kit will be given)
  6. Familiarize with GPS hardware

What we have achieved

Each team left the workshop with 5 brand new gun cases containing the scintillator with the PMT installed.
