MARIACHI Summer 07 Workshop

The Summer 07 Workshop is Over. After a concentrated week of work the first ALL MARIACHI summer workshop came to an end. In all the workshop united scientists, teachers and students with a common goal of getting acquainted with MARIACHI experiment and coming up with a long list of questions that we can study. The workshop had 42 registered participants and 10 instructors and organizers. The workshop was divided into pratical hands on activities, learning about the science of MARIACHI, and learning how to use tools such as the WIKI and Video Conferencing.

Workshop participants were divided into seven discussion groups. Each group concentrated in searching and discussing a given science topic. One group however concentrated on GRID issues and raised important questions on how students will access data to be analyzed.

During the workshop, the MARIACHI laboratory was dedicated in a ribbon cutting ceremony.
