Christian Mirchel

Currently I am a graduate student in the Masters of Arts in Teaching Physics program at SUNY Stony Brook. As an undergraduate I double majored in Physics and Applied Math. After graduate school I plan to teach highschool physics.

Interests

Most of my down time is spent surfing or swimming. Surfing is my favorite hobby, but swell events almost never coincide with free time. I guess a picked the wrong hobby as a Long Islander, but I love it anyway.

Music plays an significant role in making my daily commute to Stony Brook more tolerable. My musical taste includes everything from classical to flamenco to indie rock. I pretty much like a little of everything. When listening to the radio, I prefer National Public Radio (NPR) news over most music stations.
