Something of a Bio

If only I cared to tell you more than this... I am a quiet boy, simple in my methods, excentric in my practices. I will explain: I've limmited my contact to the modern world and consequently have outrageous habits. I am the woods!

Just a few facts...

  • My school: Deer Park High School
  • My hobby: Wood carving
  • My idea of a good time: Rolling and spinning in the sunshing
  • My loyalty is with: The Stage Crew
  • What I use the internet for: Check the sunrise and sunset
  • What I play: The Bassoon

Standing Impressions

Monday I find my interest more than just stired

It was an introductory day of lectures and research. The workshop seems promising.

Tuesday Once divided we were put to work

Early in the day, in groups, we began with a presentation by Dima Vavilov and Mike Marx about Scintillators. This activity was what I wanted from the workshop. Following a lunch break a presentation about videoconferencing was less satisfying.

Wednesday It was all a show

Today was fairly different. Begining with free range to explore presentations the day seemed bright. My mind, however, wanted to wander farther than my body; there was not enough to do. Only after the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and lunch with a Mariachi band did we begin. Though I apreciate the complexity and necessity of the lecture on Grid Computing, I felt entirely out of place thinking about, listening to, and recognising the importance of computer stuff.

Thursday Just a lot of fun

Begining with a delightful lecture about black holes and sun gazing I wonder why I begin my days any other way. The third and final installment of the group activities about radios was a bit of a strech for me. After some playing around with the software and with the help of my patient and diligent partner synthesising those mind rattling hums was rewarding.
