R. Dean Schamberger is a Senior Scientist at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and director of the High Energy Physics Lab. He has been working on High Energy Physics Experiments for over 30 years. These include the CUSB experiment at the Cornel Electron Storage Ring where the Uplison Resonances (bound states of B and B-bar quarks) were first studied; the D0 experiment at Fermilab which discovered the Top quark; the KLOE experiment at Frascati which studies CP violation in the Kaon system; the Atlas experiment which will run at the LHC collider in CERN, searching for the Higgs and SUSY particles.
